Beauty is vain…
The beauty of life may be covered by the complaints and frustrations of the needs, the shortcomings, and the inadequacies of the personal search for meaning, the substance, the tangible intangibles. Is it not the simple things in life that we should hold so dear? Putting aside the prides of our life, accomplishments, and all else, they mean nothing. Standing in line for a drink of water, waiting for a bus, paying the rent — aren’t these actions taken on by most human beings? What makes a person ”more important?” status? rank? symbols of power? education? Meaningless. So meaningless.
